Peter Dawson Buckland

Peter Buckland has loved forests, fields, streams, and what they teach us about living in the Anthropocene. In college, he won writing and musical awards but turned away from them as he turned more toward teaching, research, and advocating for conviviality, sustainability, and conservation. Heartwood, his first book of poetry, marks his return to writing. He lives in State College, Pennsylvania.
